MLS (Non-surgical liposuction)
MLS (Non-Surgical Liposuction) is an integrated name for a series of procedures. It is a localized fat reduction system. In MLS application, we prepare 2 or 3 treatment protocols that follow each other. The system proceeds in three steps:
Procedure 1: Using an analysis system, a special component of MLS, we measure the characteristics and dimensions of the target fat tissue. Based on the analysis results, we determine which formula, how many times, and what type of treatment the target fat tissue needs.
Procedure 2: Injection: This is the main procedure that produces results. In this procedure, a liquid (hypoosmolar fluid) mixture prepared according to the formula from the analysis results is mixed with a local anesthetic and injected into the target fat tissue. We then attach ultrasound pads to the fat tissue, which has been inflated with hypoosmolar fluid, and aim to rupture the fat cells with high-dose sound waves.
Procedure 3: We perform lymphatic drainage using a lymphatic drainage system, which facilitates the elimination of the ruptured and liquefied fat tissue from the body. Finally, we aim to tighten and flatten that area with Magnetotherapy and Infrared blankets.
IS MLS APPLIED ONLY ONCE?
No. The treatment procedure is tailored to each individual and target fat tissue by the analysis device. We determine a program of 2 to 6 sessions for each area.
HOW DOES MLS MELT FAT?
When hypoosmolar fluid is administered, the walls of the fat cells weaken, and the fat cells begin to melt. The melted and weakened fat cells mix with this fluid. At the same time, ultrasound denatures these fat cells, disrupting their ability to retain fat again. Thus, rapid fat melting is achieved, and at the same time, fat elimination occurs because of the loss of fat cells.
WHEN DO RESULTS START TO BE SEEN IN MLS TREATMENT?
From the first session onwards, after the patient eliminates edema, slimming begins to be seen. The success rate increases after regular treatment. As a result, patients feel the reduction in their body measurements.
WHERE CAN MLS BE APPLIED? CAN IT BE APPLIED TO MALE PATIENTS?
In female patients, applications can be performed on the bra area, arm area, upper abdomen, lower abdomen, love handles, hip area, under the buttocks, inner knee, above the knee, and inner thigh.
In male patients, applications can be performed on the abdominal area and love handles.
IS MLS APPLICABLE TO EVERYONE?
It can be applied to patients with a BMI below 30. For obese patients with a BMI above 30 (very high body fat), diet and exercise are recommended first. After that, MLS treatment can be considered.
IS A DIET REQUIRED DURING MLS TREATMENT?
A special nutrition and monitoring program is recommended.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS OF MLS TREATMENT?
No medication is used in this treatment, which is performed under local anesthesia. Since the broken-down fats do not enter the systemic circulation, there are no side effects. Of course, as with any weight loss method, the correct case selection by your doctor is crucial.
HOW IS CELLULITE TREATED WITH MLS?
We know that cellulite is the accumulation of trapped fat deposits in the connective tissue under the skin due to insufficient circulation. The ‘Lymphatic Drainage’ system, a stage of the MLS treatment, aims to increase circulation and facilitate the collection and elimination of fat by scavenger cells. Thus, in addition to addressing localized fat problems, the MLS system, with its EMF and Lymphatic Drainage systems, also helps in cellulite treatment.
ARE THERE ANY AGE LIMITS FOR MLS TREATMENT?
The procedure can be performed on individuals of all ages who have completed puberty and have no health problems. Systemic health problems must be evaluated by your doctor to determine if you are suitable for the procedure.
