SKINBOSTER
This application can be described as a skin strengthener or skin supporter.
It contains hyaluronic acid with very few cross-links.
It is an application positioned exactly between filler applications and mesotherapy/mesolift applications.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SKINBOOSTER AND MESOTHERAPY AND FILLERS?
Skinbooster is a hyaluronic acid with very few cross-links. In other words, it is a product positioned exactly between the cross-linked hyaluronic acid used in mesolift/mesotherapy (which has no filler properties and only provides hydration and anti-aging) and the cross-linked hyaluronic acid used for fillers (which provides volume). It contains some of the properties of both types of hyaluronic acid.
Its main effect is longest-lasting hydration, and it is a good alternative for facial rejuvenation.
WHICH AREAS CAN SKINBOOSTER BE APPLIED TO?
It has a wide range of applications, including the forehead, around the eyes, around the mouth, cheeks, chin, back of the hands, neck, and décolleté.
HOW IS SKINBOSTER APPLIED AND WHAT IS THE TREATMENT PROTOCOL?
Skinbooster is applied as micro-injections with very fine needles. Depending on the size of the area to be treated, the procedure takes 15-45 minutes. A cream containing a local anesthetic can be applied to the injection site 30 minutes before the procedure. Minimal swelling and bruising may occur afterwards. Normal life can be resumed immediately afterward without any loss of work time.
While it may vary depending on individual needs, it is recommended to use it 3 times at 1-month intervals for ideal results. Due to its water-retaining properties, patients are advised to drink plenty of water for increased effectiveness, and a booster dose is recommended after 6 months.
