Dr. Birgül Altuntürk is a graduate of Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. She received her “Medical Aesthetic Physician” title from the Turkish Ministry of Health in 2005.
After graduating from Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1997, Dr. Altuntürk completed her compulsory service in Anatolia between 1998 and 2005. She then worked as a civil servant in Istanbul for a period, followed by a private hospital physician. In 2005, she obtained her Medical Aesthetic Physician Certificate from the Ministry of Health. She has participated in national and international symposiums and training programs, enhancing her knowledge, skills, and expertise in the field of medical aesthetics.
Since 2005, Dr. Altuntürk has provided services exclusively in medical aesthetics and anti-aging, using state-of-the-art equipment and acting as an instructor in its use.
Between 2005 and 2010, she served as the General Coordinator of the Weight Loss Department at a private Aesthetics and Beauty Clinic. After leaving this position, she opened her own private practice on Bağdat Street in 2010.
Dr. Altuntürk is a participant in annual congresses such as IMCAS and KIMES, where the latest developments in aesthetics and cosmetic procedures are followed and discussed. She has studies related to Weight Loss Treatments, Facial Anti-aging Applications, and Non-Surgical Aesthetics. She is also a member of GETAT (Traditional and Complementary Medicine Association). She holds authorization for an Ozone Unit in her practice.
Dr. Birgül Altuntürk, who continues her beloved profession of Medical Aesthetics in her private practice, also occasionally writes aesthetic columns as a hobby. She is a great animal lover, spends her summers in Burgazada, is an island enthusiast, and a tango aficionado…
