Lipotherapy / Lipolysis

This is a lipotherapy method using a special FDA-approved lipolytic agent for localized fat reduction.

It is a microgelatin-based, biodegradable liquid solution containing 3:6 anhydro-I-galactose acid sodium and can be applied to almost the entire body to dissolve fat deposits. It is one of the methods used for problematic localized fat deposits such as the chin, arms, abdomen, inner knees, hips and calves, inner thighs, trochanter area, lipomas, and nape of the neck.

The number of sessions generally depends on the desired degree of correction, the extent of fat deposits, and the specific reactions of the fat tissue; typically, 1-2 sessions are applied every 3 weeks, while 3 sessions are recommended for very problematic areas. Aqualyx is applied by direct injection into the subcutaneous fat tissue using a thin, flexible, special cannula.

IS LIPOTHERAPY/LIPOLYSIS PAINFUL? AND HOW MANY VIALS CAN BE USED IN ONE SESSION?

The procedure is almost painless. A local anesthetic agent is used. A maximum of 4 vials of lipolytic agent are used in one application.

There are restrictions on salt and sugar, and alcohol is prohibited. Patients are advised to drink plenty of water throughout the treatment. It can be applied to all individuals, both men and women, who have completed puberty and have no health problems.

IS LIPOTHERAPY/LIPOLYSIS PERMANENT? CAN ONE RETURN TO NORMAL LIFE IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PROCEDURE?

In this lipolysis method; the inside of the fat cells is emptied, but their number does not change. However, clinical studies and long-term results have shown that the duration of the effect is long as long as the patient is careful. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes, allows for a return to normal life without any loss of work time, and can be performed in all seasons, summer or winter.

What is the difference between Lipolysis and Mesotherapy?

Lipolysis is a weight loss method that aims to melt fat by applying it locally to the deep fat tissue.

Mesotherapy is a procedure that involves applying active ingredients to the middle layer of the skin using micro-injections. The goal is to improve skin quality.
