I want to lose weight, but I don’t want to lose weight from my face!

1) During weight loss, we cannot expect all weight loss to come from fat. Some muscle loss will occur, but this proportion should be much lower than fat loss. In other words, the primary loss should be from fat tissue. Conversely, if more muscle is lost than necessary, and this muscle loss occurs in the face, sagging will occur.

7) Avoid eating the same things all the time; don’t have a monotonous diet. Variety in your diet will prevent muscle loss.

8) If you have digestive problems, be sure to resolve them. A disrupted digestive system can cause muscle loss.

9) Be sure to drink 2-3 liters of water a day. Water supports collagen tissue in your skin, beautifies your skin, and fights sagging.

10) Don’t follow diets without proper guidance. Always seek help from a specialist when dieting. Things you think are right may actually be wrong, and these can lead to muscle loss.

11) If you have reached your ideal weight, don’t try to lose more. Fat tissue has important functions in the body, such as protecting internal organs and absorbing vitamins. To ensure these functions are not disrupted, the body may start losing muscle by minimizing fat loss after a certain point.

12) Consult your doctor and, if necessary, opt for localized weight loss methods.
