Art and Aesthetics

What Does Aesthetics Mean According to Philosophers?

According to Aristotle, beauty is harmony and balance.

Immanuel Kant, on the other hand, noted that beauty possesses both subjective and objective qualities. According to him, “beauty is the finite manifestation of the infinite.”

Aesthetics, an activity within life, is a phenomenon that has existed throughout humankind.

And in many works of art, the most important of the fundamental principles has been the emphasis on beauty. Of course, it is important to be able to add not only beauty but also soul to a work of art.

For example, one of the most important reasons for the captivating nature of the Mona Lisa painting is the Mona Lisa Smile. Leonardo Da Vinci used different techniques to create a unique smile. And thus, that spirit has lived with us for centuries.

As Aesthetic Doctors, while following all the developments in the world, we strive to make our patients experience the excitement of pursuing infinite beauty.

Whether what we do is “art” is up to our patients to decide. On this matter, I can only say this: From an aesthetic perspective, with cultural background and a clinical approach, we must be doctors who possess the right touches regardless of the patient’s request. We must pay attention to our knowledge of facial anatomy, our patient’s lifestyle, profession, the harmony of their mind and body, etc., and be there for them during the “aging process” with radiant treatments that illuminate their surroundings.
