What is Nasolabial Filler?

The area between the cheeks and mouth, extending from the base of the nose to the corners of the mouth, is called the nasolabial fold.

Nasolabial filler is a procedure that involves filling the deep nasolabial folds, starting from the nostrils and extending to the corners of the mouth, with filler material to give the face a much younger appearance.

The main reasons for the deepening of the nasolabial fold are: aging, genetics, gravity, and facial expressions.

It is the most frequently preferred filler application by patients and doctors worldwide and in Turkey to provide a dynamic look to the mid-face.

The molecular weight and amount of filler to be used are determined by the doctor according to the depth of the fold. The effect is immediately visible with a 30-minute application; full distribution and settling of results take approximately 15 days. It should be performed by skilled hands and doctors with knowledge of anatomy.
