Plasma Energy Applications

Essentially, non-surgical eyelid aesthetic treatments are FDA-approved, plasma energy technology-based applications. In the treatment area, gaseous water vapor and nitrogen are converted into plasma energy with high energy. This energy vaporizes lesions on the skin, eliminating problematic tissues while simultaneously initiating the process of new tissue formation.

HOW ARE PLASMA ENERGY TREATMENTS APPLIED?

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and is particularly preferred during the winter months. It is not suitable for summer months due to the wound-scabbing process. A significant advantage is that there is no bleeding during the procedure, as the device also acts as a cauterizer. It is a good alternative for patients who do not want surgery for non-surgical tightening and firming. The procedure time is short, allowing for a quick return to daily life.

WHICH TREATMENTS ARE USED WITH PLASMA ENERGY TREATMENTS?

Non-surgical eyelid aesthetics (Upper and Lower Eyelids)

Crow’s feet lines

Acne and acne scars

White and yellow spots on the eyelids (Sebaceous glands = Xanthelasma)

Smokers’ lines above the lips (barcode lines)

Various moles (moles that are absolutely risk-free)

Removal of surgical scars and wound scars

Wart treatments

WHEN WILL THE EFFECTS OF PLASMA ENERGY APPLICATIONS BE SEEN?

A small crusting will be seen within one to ten days after the application. Within three weeks, these crusts will fall off and new skin formation will begin from underneath. Results will begin to be seen approximately one to one and a half months after collagen and elastin fiber synthesis begins. One session is usually sufficient. If necessary, a second, third session or touch-up session can be arranged.
